ANT, I hope whatever is frustrating you will be fixed soon.
I have sent you love in several places on daNet and here too I want to say I adore you. Whatever it is, it will work out. Just like you said….. it always does.

I need a nap. Shouldn’t do that just post-dinner, but I really want to lay on one of my Amazon Blondes and be mindless for a bit.
I NEED TO NEED TO do dog baths and grooming tonight cuz they need their Frontline on their necks tonight. It is CRAZY that it is so hard for me…… hell, parents bathe their kids ALL THE TIME and I can’t manage once a month??? Crazy.

Anywho.
I am doin it.
Layin on the couch for a bit, then dog duty.

Oh, and people……….
I was talkin to Chris today on facecrack about recipes from the colony and finding a place to put them all. He went to epicurious and set up an ANTcolony account. Epicurious, I learned, is sorta a social network where you can be fans of people etc. I hope eventually many colony people will post recipes and eventually we will have an amazing cookbook! Even if it only is online it will be great! Of all the cookbooks I own, I use the same ones over and over……….. they are community cookbooks of people’s best recipes from towns and churches and organizations. Our colony would have an amazing collection.

I have mixed emotions about it being August already.
Summer has flown by and we really haven’t HAD it yet.
Blake is gone until lord knows when and makes things “different” for me.
I am grateful that he has work and that he is still able to work after last year’s health scares.

Anyway.
I hope you all are having a great weekend!

ANT..You did it yet again..It’s unreal to me how it happens all the time..I’m sorry your in a crappy mood today and hoping your tomorrow will be better than your today.

I have ear phones plugged in and while I was typing the first sentence of what u said over and over again it was like a subliminal message going into my brain…I really needed to hear those words so thank u for that.

Hi Emjay….Great idea from Chris but I can’t cook or dare send in a recipe unless some people would be interested in bland/tasteless/overcooked/welldone /lowfat anything. I can make a great bowl of cereal…Nothing ever goes wrong with that! xo

I bow my head in shame…I just remembered that YES something can go wrong having a bowl of cereal.. When the milk is sour and curddles..ugh.

Heidi, here’s the recipe for a fail proof bowl of cereal…… dry cereal, no milk, no worry about using sour milk.
