ANT COLONY PICNIC SCHEDULE RELEASED!

This is the itinerary for the ANT Colony Picnic BASH! I will be at the Colony BBQ on Friday
and you never know…I may pop in at another event too. This is more about you than it is
about me…getting to meet those that have freely offered so much over the past two years
is what truly makes this a special gathering.

HI Spa,

Hi Heidi!

Just running around places to say hello. I am feelin lonely.
It is probably because Blake is gone again for 2 months.
So many people are in Seattle.
I am dealing with multiple medical issues all at once.
I feel disconnected from here, the NBC colony, Myspace, ANT, Blake, my painting, etc. I know this feeling is just temporary, but today it just feels stronger than it has. I am starting 2 pills today I have never taken before. I also soon taking an antibiotic I have never taken that is related to ones I am allergic to. After a week of pain and crazy hoo haa stuff and the mini-surgery yesterday….. I am just a bit overwhelmed and lonely.
I also am just writing mindlessly here, cuz I really do not care if anyone reads this or comments on it. I just want to put it somewhere.
I am looking forward to energy.
To hope.
To confidence.
To “me”.
I see it coming. I just have to get through some stuff along the way.
This rough patch is under me, but ahead I can see a road that looks better, with sunlight on it.

(((( EMJAY))) I’m so sorry your feeling lonely…When alot of things happen at once it can become overwhelming but when the ” things” end which they have with the procedure, Seattle will be over this weekend , and Blake will be back in no time..PLUS! when u have me as a friend there is no way you can be lonely …I’m going to send u my email via myspace, feel free vent, share what’s on your mind etc. I hope you make chat tonight, many of your friends will be there. HUGS xo

Hi Everyone!

I was so bummed to see “Participation in this chat room has been disabled by the moderator,” when I finally made it to the picnic chat after work tonight I watched and listened for a little while though. It looked and sounded like everyone was having a great time! That makes me so happy

I’m glad comments are working here again!!!

Emjay – I’m sorry this health thing has been such a nightmare for you. You know where to find me if you need cyber-handholding I was very proud of you today for taking your medicine!

Shannon – I hope you’re planning on resting and recovering from your shock! You are one tough cookie, Lady!

Heidi – I hope you’re having a wonderful, braces-free, Summer in Canada!

I hope everyone who is not in Seattle has fun weekend plans (I know the people in Seattle have fun weekend plans). I’m putting myself in “time-out” this weekend. I’ve been super stressed and realized I’m starting to shut down and go into a funk because I’m so overwhelmed….so I’m going to take a time out and sort through it all so I can move forward by Monday…hopefully.

I’m also going to try to figure out how to keep my son down! He ruptured his ear and has a horrible bacterial infection in it that, according to the doctor today, has not gotten any better at all in the 5 days he’s been on massive doses of antibiotics. UGH! The lesson here is that one should not go to Tahoe (go up in altitude) when they have a little cold…and force their ears to pop….if they do do that, they certainly should not spend the weekend swimming in the bacteria infested Lake!!! He thought he just had water in his ear….

ANT – Travel home safely! I’m sorry I missed this gathering…hopefully I’ll make it if there is another one.

Hi Kids!

I just needed to stop by here for a minute. Sometimes this place is a little more safe than some of our other places. The chat was great until the vile creatures took over.

Emjay I am so sorry that you are going through all of that. I am sending you big hugs. I can really relate to how you are feeling. Hopefully we can pull strength from the Colony to help us through it. I am really struggling right now. I feel like I am also withdrawing and disconnecting. I haven’t felt this bad in months and normally I am able to fight through it but right now I am failing. I have only told Bedbug about some things that are going on and I couldn’t dare do it on FB or Myspace. But my husband told me he wants a divorce because he can’t deal with the pressures that are on him due to my illness. It has devastated me. He has since changed his mind but the extreme hurt is still there. We are working through it but I have such anxiety now putting anything on him. My kids are my everything and my world so I am trying to focus all of my attention on them. It is effecting them though as well. I am so thankful for finding the Colony it is a safe place full of beautiful caring people.

{{{{{SHANNON}}}}} I am so sorry. You have gone through so much in the short time we’ve known you. I can’t speak for everyone here (but I think I do)…we’re here for you, in any way we can be that you need. All you have to do is ask or tell us what you need and we’re here. If you ever need someone to talk to or vent at, a FB message is the quickest way to find me (I’ll send you one with my actual e-mail address).

I can’t imagine the hurt that caused (and still causes) you. I wish I had a magic wand I could wave to make it all go away….at least for now while you focus on healing. Fear can cause people to say and do things they wouldn’t normally say or do.

Oh Shannon!

I could not write anything better than T said. I have faith that time and caring will heal the wounds your husband inflicted. I know he is scared and frustrated…. but it still hurts. Blake is very much a loving soul, but when I am sick he shuts down. He gets frustrated that he can’t fix it and it hurts me that he just sorta distances himself. It seems some men can only deal with things they cannot control or fix by pushing away.
There is a silver lining…… there always is. I know yours is going to be as bright as the sun. You are an amazing woman, a creative talent, a caring soul. I am just sorry you are going through so much right now. You inspire me ya know.

T: Thank you always for being my calm medical go to friend! I took a pill 50 minutes ago and thought of you. You have a calming effect on me. I hear you telling me it will be ok….. even if I have a reaction…. I need to stay calm and deal with it. Others have had them and it’s ok.

So sorry to hear about your son’s ear!!!!! I swear my ear hurt just reading about it! I hope they can figure out how to KILL THAT CRAP and get him back to healthy very very soon! I can’t imagine having a child in pain. It must be so difficult. I can barely stand it when my dogs don’t feel well!

Heidi: You are so amazing. (I have yet to get to myspace but will I promise!) You are so wise and wonderful and caring. I don’t think you know just how wonderful you are. I am so grateful to know you.
I bet Flat Heidi will fly back to Minneapolis with Donna (unless she is going elsewhere that is) a rumpled mess from all the people loving and fondling you….. er….. her. )

Happy Saturday!

Someone was a little tired…I slept until 2:00 this afternoon (and only woke up because I heard a text message…then noticed I’d slept through 2 other text messages, a phone call, and a voice mail ).

Thank you for the well wishes for my son. He hasn’t been in pain since Sunday, which is why he’s not taking it easy and resting like his mommy wants him to do! I reminded him last night that he can’t go camping at Half Dome (Yosemite) in two weeks (for his birthday) if his ear hasn’t healed (more altitude) so maybe he’ll start taking it easy.

Emjay – I’m happy you can feel me holding your hand when you take the scary medicine I hope you’re starting to feel better and the pain is gone (or at least a whole lot less).

Shannon – I hope you’re feeling better. Hopefully by the time you go in for tests on Monday your heart will be all recovered from the shock! I hope your hand isn’t too painful.

Heidi – I think Flat-Heidi needs a website. Where she (or her hosts) can blog about all of her adventures and post pictures

I also hope someone sets up a central place for everyone who went to Seattle can post pictures for those of us who didn’t go to see (maybe a FB Group or something).
