i just want to come to the spa and tell you that you make me smile.
You change how my soul feels when I feel down.
Your face, your smile, your spark, your “you” in this video has made me come out of a crap day with a smile. Thank you.

I love my spa people too and have not been around enough.

Summer is such a time of “busy”. I feel like I am just overwhelmed and that is so stupid. Every day should be lived and appreciated and I need to learn that.

I could babble forever tonight cuz I am emotional about so many things.
Instead I will say I love you people.

Wanted to stop by and check in. It is really crazy here so I probably will not be around much for awhile. I am getting ready for an intense treatment program that will go through November. Then surgery. I have a new doctor and he thinks that remission is a definite possibility now. Sending love and prayers to all that need them.

Hello Everyone!

I’m experiencing a brief moment of sanity so I wanted to check in here. I’m sorry I’ve been so absent lately.

ANT – I miss you! I cried with you when you opened the blanket. I hope it was the right time for you and it didn’t set you back.

Shannon – I read your treatment schedule and my first thought was, “Wow! She’s in for quite a battle these next few months!” But then I realized you won’t be having Chemo during the Holidays…what a gift that is…and the Holidays aren’t really all that far away I’ll be praying for you and sending you strength and healing vibes from Hippy-Flippy Northern California

Lydia – How is Summer Vacation going so far? What’s with your weather lately? Is this always tornado season? Yikes!

Heidi – How are you doing? Did the braces come off, or do you have a date when they will? How is your hip?

Emjay, Emjay, quite contrary, how does your garden grow? How are you doing without The Blake? I hope you’re holding up okay and keeping busy with everything you’re growing.

Michelle – I miss reading about your adventures with your son. Have you guys done anything fun or silly lately?

Andrew and LaKendra – Welcome to the ANT Colony Spa (if you’re reading here).

I’ve been keeping busy with work, which is a nightmare right now (this State Budget mess is worse than a mess), and working on my high school reunion, which is only 5 or 6 weeks away. In the middle of all of that I poisoned myself with vitamins. HUH? I was running out of my multi-vitamin so I grabbed a new bottle at the store last week. It must be a brand I haven’t grabbed before because it set off a little nightmare in the form of anaphylaxis of my intestinal tract. UGH! Of course it started after hours and all of the EpiPens in my house were expired. My choices were the ER or suffer through it…I chose suffer through it. Not fun! Anyway, that’s better now except I’m still exhausted and afraid to eat anything besides plain rice. Not a diet I suggest for anyone who wants to be sane

I have my second acupuncture session tomorrow. I’m looking forward to it. The one last week really helped my knee, even though she’s treating my neck

Hopefully I’ll be going to Jason Dudey’s show in Sacramento this weekend. I was too out of it to remember to confirm with my friend and now she’s in Tahoe until Friday. I hope she’s still planning on going with me Saturday.

I’m really bummed I won’t be able to make it to the ANT Colony BBQ. I was really hoping I would be able to pull it off, but with all of the car repairs in the past few months, and being furloughed, there is just no way I can afford to get up there this time I’ll be there in spirit though.

I hope everyone is having a good week! As soon as this budget mess is over and I’m not coming home at night brain dead, I promise I’ll be back here more regularly (I’m pretending like you guys miss me when I’m gone).
