Self explanatory title. Hey all. As you all know the only airline I prefer to fly is American Airlines. Well, right now there is a vote going on to vote for your favorite airline. I would really love it if American Airlines took top honors…not only because they are the best airline in the world, but because they were there for me now twice in my life…I will explain in an upcoming blog. I voted twice (once with each browser) and I’ll vote again tomorrow from work.

I have been a bad colony member, not commenting. Life has been a little insane and I’ve been in a funk…but I don’t have time to be in a funk so I’ve decided I won’t be in one anymore I miss playing with everyone here.

It’s been an interesting 10 days. Yesterday I spent 4+ hours in the emergency room with my son. They thought it was appendicitis, but it was only a really bad virus (which is good as long as I don’t get it next ). Last week they found some suspicious packages at the Capitol, which I never worry about because it happens all the time. This time however, the police blew one of them up (without any warning) and scared the life out of me. I was rattled for 2 days afterwards. It was the loudest, scariest sound I’ve ever heard (my office window is about 1/2 block from where they did it). A few days before that there was a woman on the roof of my parking garage for 3 hours, threatening to jump…It makes me sad when people feel that’s the only option they have left (it was her third attempt in 2 weeks). Those things, along with constant unexpected car repairs (and unexpected expenses) all contributed to my funk. Today, while I was organizing the garage, a bookcase collapsed and fell on me so now my left arm and leg look like someone’s been beating me…it’s not pretty!

There are good things too though. The adjustment to my thyroid meds seems to be helping. I’m no longer having to pull over all the time because I’m passing out while driving. Friday I get to see ANT’s show!!! Memorial Weekend I get to see Journey again and also go to a baseball game. My son has been accepted into a Summer Internship Program at the university in town (which he doesn’t attend). It’s full-time and PAID! YAY! And soon…very soon…the rain will stop and it will be Spring for a week or two before Summer and its 100+ days start (I like Spring…Summer, not so much).

Emjay – I’m glad the Neighbors from Hell are gone!

Shannon – I hope you’re feeling okay and that the flu has left your home.

Lydia – I hope you and the family are enjoying all of your Spring activities.

Heidi – How are you doing? I hope you’re feeling better than the last time I saw a post from you.

MichelleOpal – I hope you’re doing well.

T..I’m sorry your going through a funk right now with the unfortunate events that have happend……BUT! I will be in and out the next few weeks:
Breathing treatments and tests this week.
Followed by Chemo, radiation and 2 surgeries.
I am not going to get to see ANT in Wichita due to the surgeries ~
I am so disappointed.
I am going to new specialists in Houston and St. Louis. They are still talking
positively about the prognosis just a rough journey getting there. Just a couple of speed bumps – going to beat it I have to.

Sending hugs and healing thoughts to all that need them.
