Watching these clips makes me SO happy I was a child/teenager before there were a gazillion cable channels to choose from. I realize now, I was fortunate to grow up in a time of amazing television talent.

She was amazing at her craft. A true talent. A true legend.

I agree with you Michelle…while now we go nuts when we can’t find anything to watch on our 1000 channels…when we were younger and only had like 10 to choose from…I was always happy to find Golden Girls on.

I was very young when this show was on…but I loved it. I always hoped to have friends like that around me when I got older.

I hear what you are saying Lydia about the 100 channels. The only thing that seems to be on are repeats. And repeats of repeats…and reality shows. Some reality shows are fine, but others are simply dumb.

There are so few ‘good’ shows.

Where did they go?
